Following breakfast, leave the Romanian capital behind and travel by bus, approximately 4 hours, to Tulcea, the gateway to the Danube Delta. Spend some time exploring this riverside town before boarding your comfortable floating hotel. As the journey begins, settle in and prepare for the natural wonders ahead. Your first day of cycling takes you along the southernmost arm of the Danube and through the Bestepe Hills nature reserve. Sweeping views across the Delta reward the occasional uphill stretch. At the fishing village of Murighiol, continue by boat through a maze of channels, floating islands, and dense forests, offering an unforgettable first glimpse of the region's wild beauty. Today's route follows a rugged gravel path, with the open Black Sea on one side and lush reeds and marshland on the other. Keep watch for cormorants and Great White Egrets as you travel through this peaceful, remote landscape. The ride leads to Sulina, where the Danube reaches kilometer “0” and meets the Black Sea near the historic lighthouse. Overnight on the hotel boat.

Along the bird-filled waters of Musura Bay, the route leads to the picturesque village of Letea. Its reed-and-loam houses and quiet surroundings offer a glimpse into the traditional life of the Delta. Nearby, discover one of the region's most unusual natural features: a forest growing on a sandbank, complete with climbing plants and lianas. The day's journey concludes in the fishing village of Crisan, reached by boat. Overnight on the hotel boat.

Set the bicycles aside and immerse yourself in the Delta's remarkable ecosystem. A cruise through a labyrinth of narrow waterways reveals small fishing villages and an ever-changing landscape of wetlands, reeds, and open water. Along the way, experience the incredible diversity of the UNESCO World Heritage Danube Delta. By afternoon, return to the vibrant town of Tulcea. Overnight on the hotel boat.

Venture into the gently rolling countryside on a round-trip ride to Celic Dere Orthodox Monastery, the largest convent in the Dobrogea region. The route continues to beautiful Saon Monastery, set among vineyards along the Danube and distinguished by its windmill. From a nearby ridge, enjoy sweeping views across the green floodplain toward the Ukrainian border. A transfer brings you back to Tulcea, where you'll spend the night at a comfortable 4-star guesthouse.

Travel by bus to the historic town of Ceamurlia de Jos, then explore the Cape Dolosman nature reserve and the Greek-Roman archaeological site of Argamum. From there, take to your bicycle and ride toward the medieval fortress of Enisala, dramatically positioned above the Danube. Pause to take in the breathtaking views across Razim Lagoon before returning to Tulcea. Overnight at a comfortable 4-star guesthouse.
