Beatles, Bike and Boat


Discover Hamburg’s vibrant charm with a Beatles Tour, the colorful St. Pauli and Reeperbahn district, and a city bike adventure. Then head to the Hanseatic town of Lübeck with a native guide before continuing through the Baltic Sea islands of Rügen and Usedom, tracing the Oder and Havel rivers through Poland. An optional post-trip extension to Berlin includes a city bike tour, a cabaret evening, and two additional nights with a bike and food tour.

Profile: car-free paths, rural country roads with little traffic and asphalted bike lanes but also on dusty field paths and dirt roads, with a few short sections on federal highways. “Pleasure-biking” – The routes are mostly flat with some hilly parts, although there will be a few steep inclines and downgrades.

Day 1 | August 27, Arrival Hamburg

Start your adventure in Hamburg, a city rich in music, maritime history, and culture.

After settling in, dive into the vibrant spirit of the St. Pauli district with a Beatles walking tour—a nostalgic stroll through venues where the Fab Four launched their career. Explore the nightlife and atmosphere that shaped their early sound and left an indelible mark on rock history.

Day 2 | August 28, Transfer to Stralsund via Lübeck

Day 3 | August 29, Stralsund to Lauterbach (Rügen) | Cruise to Peenemünde

Explore Rich Heritage and Beauty.

Pedal across the Rügen Dam and into a timeless landscape of churches, manors, and cobblestone towns. Rügen, Germany’s largest island, is rich in natural beauty and cultural heritage—don’t miss the neoclassical ensemble at Putbus Circus. Board the ship in Lauterbach and relax as you cruise toward the island of Usedom.

Day 4 | August 30, Peenemünde to Zinnowitz

Exciting day of cycling and sightseeing!

Today you have plenty of time to explore the Usedom Island. You have the choice between 3 cycling tours. Take the opportunity in the morning to visit the Historical-Technical Museum in the former power plant or plan a visit to the Usedom Distillery in Mölchow (highly recommended!). In good weather, we recommend the bike tour through Trassenheide and Karlshagen combined with a refreshing swim in the Baltic Sea. Afterwards, cycle to Zinnowitz, one of Usedom’s most famous and beautiful seaside resorts. Situated between the Baltic Sea and Achterwasser, the town is surrounded by beech, oak, and pine forests, and the white, gently sloping sandy beach invites you to relax.

Day 5 | August 31, Cruise to Szczecin

Enjoy a leisurely full-day cruise across the Szczecin Lagoon as the MS PRINCESS sails southward.

Today you will spend all day on board. You will cross the expansive waters of the Bay of Szczecin (Oder Lagoon) and reach Szczecin, the green city on the mouth of the Oder and one of the largest ports on the Baltic Sea. The reconstructed castle of the dukes of Pomerania situated in the city’s historic centre is worth seeing.

Day 6 | September 1, Szczecin to Eberswalde (via Mescherin, Schwedt & Hohensaaten)

Sail into the morning mist as we cruise from Szczecin to the riverside town of Mescherin.

From here, begin your cycling journey through the “Lower Oder Valley International Park” via the Oder-Neisse Cycle Path. Along the way to Schwedt, pass by the former estate of Criewen, home to the National Park Center of Germany’s only floodplain National Park.

After a short sail from Schwedt to Hohensaaten, continue cycling in the direction of Niederfinow, where a visit to the impressive boat lift is always an option. Ride through a landscape of gentle hills, glades, and forests before joining the Treidel bike route along the historic Finow Canal. Your destination is Eberswalde, where you’ll find the oldest working lock in Germany nestled in the city’s heart.

Day 7 | September 2, Eberswalde to Oranienburg

Enjoy forested paths and lake-filled landscapes in Brandenburg.

In the morning shipping to Oranienburg. Sightseeing tip: the Baroque castle with its park, museum and orangery. Then the well-marked bike route will take you southwards through the Ruppin sea area to Berlin.
