Day 1: Arrival in Bari

November 4

Arrive in Bari, a lively port city on the Adriatic coast known for its historic old town and charming streets. The day is unstructured, allowing time to relax, settle in, or explore Bari’s highlights at your own pace. Wander the narrow streets, visit local churches, or stroll the bustling seafront promenade. Day 2: Discovering Matera

November 5

After breakfast, we’ll depart from Bari and head to Matera, a city renowned for its ancient cave dwellings, known as “Sassi,” which have been carved into the limestone cliffs. Upon arrival, we’ll check in at the hotel before embarking on a guided tour of the Sassi, where you’ll step back in time as you explore the labyrinthine streets and historical sites.
 
The afternoon offers free time to enjoy lunch at one of Matera’s local
eateries and then a walk in the stunning Murgia Park, which offers breathtaking views over the city.

Day 3: Nature and Culinary Delights in Matera

November 6

Start the day with a morning walk to San Giuliano Lake, a peaceful nature spot ideal for birdwatching and enjoying serene views. The hike concludes with a visit to one of the area’s oldest rock churches — the Crypt of the Original Sin, featuring remarkable frescoes.

After returning to Matera, enjoy lunch in town and some free time to relax.

In the late afternoon, take part in a cooking class, where you’ll learn to prepare traditional regional dishes. Cap off the experience by savoring your culinary creations during a delightful dinner.

Day 4: Exploring San Mauro Forte and Accettura

November 7

The morning begins with a visit to San Mauro Forte for a unique truffle hunting experience. Guided by local experts, discover the art of finding these prized delicacies in the forest.

Enjoy lunch in Accettura, followed by a visit to this charming town known for its cultural traditions and scenic surroundings.
Return to Matera in the evening.

Day 5:
The Charm of Alberobello

November 8

After breakfast, depart for Alberobello, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its iconic trulli houses.

Day 6:
Coastal Beauty of Ostuni

November 9

The journey will continue with a transfer to the coastal towns of Polignano Mare and Monopoli.

Polignano is known for its dramatic cliffs and stunning sea views, while Monopoli offers a mix of history and
charm
with its ancient walls and picturesque harbor.

After a leisurely tour of these towns, we proceed to
Ostuni, the “White City,” where we’ll check in and spend the night.

Day 7: Exploring Ostuni

November 10

Begin your day with a guided tour, exploring its whitewashed buildings, winding streets, and historical landmarks, heading towards the olive groves that surround the city, where you’ll learn about the ancient olive trees and the production of olive oil, a staple of the region’s cuisine.

The end of your walk will be a Masseria with an underground olive oil mill. You’ll stop there for a visit to the mill, the olive oil tasting, and a traditional lunch.
 
The afternoon is free for you to discover more of Ostuni or relax.

Day 8: The Heart of Lecce

November 11

This morning, we transfer to Lecce, often referred to as the “Florence of the South” due to its stunning Baroque architecture.
After checking in, we’ll take a city tour, visiting iconic sites such as the Basilica di Santa Croce and Piazza del Duomo.

The afternoon is free for you to explore the city at your own pace, perhaps visiting a local café or browsing through the artisan shops.

Day 9: Nature and History in Gallipoli

November 12

Our day begins with a transfer to Porto Selvaggio, where we’ll enjoy a walk  through the beautiful nature park, known for its coastal scenery and Mediterranean vegetation.
 
Afterward, a short shuttle ride will take us to Gallipoli, a historic seaside town with a charming old town perched on an island. We’ll explore the town’s rich history, including its fortifications and the stunning views over the Ionian Sea.
 
We return to Lecce for our final overnight stay, where you’ll dine together in one of the traditional osteria of the historical center.

Day 10: Departure from Bari

November 13

After breakfast, our services conclude as we transfer back to Bari for your departure.
